The blogger is an adoptee, trained as a reporter and editor. The combination of training and experience makes her notice when coverage of adoption falls short of journalistic standards. The purpose of this blog is to identify instances in which the media gets it wrong and explain why it fails to measure up to professional standards both from a journalistic standpoint and that of a triad member.
